The Suspension magnets are designed specifically for extraction of occasional tramp iron from material being carried by conveyor belt, vibratory feeder or gravity chute. The Suspension Magnet is suspended over the material being conveyed. Plate Magnet

Wet Drum Magnetic Separator

he wet magnetic drum separator (known as NTS) is used to remove very fine magnetisable components from low concentration, low-viscosity liquids.   NTS is mainly used by metal processing industry and for the treatment of pre-concentrates extracted from high gradient magnetic filter.  About 90% of the very fine magnetisable components can be separated as sludge.  Features such as stainless steel housing and powerful neodymium iron boron magnets are standard.

General Principles:

The liquid flows through a semi-circular separating chamber beneath a stainless steel drum to which the magnetisable particles are attracted. The strong, high-gradient magnetic field is created by a cylinder consisting of permanent magnetic discs positioned within the drum.  These special permanent magnets generate particularly high field gradients which are necessary for successful separation, as is the need with all Magnetic-Separators.

For recovering Magnetic/Ferro-silicon in dense media plants and iron ores, wet drum separators are mainly used. They remove contamination from the product stream, increasing product purity and plant productivity.  In the applications where the product purity is most essential, the wet drum separators can use powerful Rare Earth Magnets, which can remove very fine and weak contaminants even from dense materials.

We produce two primary varieties of rare earth magnets, i.e., Neodymium and Samarium-cobalt. Out of these, neodymium type rare earth magnet is comparatively cheaper. Samarium variety of rare earth magnet is a little expensive due to their complex manufacturing process and their special quality to withstand high temperatures

Rare Earth Rod Magnets are extremely efficient at removing fine iron contamination from free flowing products such as ceramics slurry sugar, grain, tea, flour, granulate and any other types of powder with a low moisture content.

This item can be supplied with blank, tapped or studded ends for ease of installation. Rods are 25.4mm (1") in diameter, 32 mm diameter, 40 mm diameter and 50 mm diameter.

Rods are particularly useful for those engineers who wish to build their own separator units or have severe room restrictions and are not able to accommodate a conventional unit.

We offer prong magnets for liquid/slurry materials, T-trap magnetic separators. In stainless steel permanent magnet tubes the T-Trap employs a slip in cage. In magnet tubes the captured tramp metal particles migrate to the rear of the tubes where they remain protected from wash - off until the tubes are cleaned. The magnet cage has positioning lungs that meet with locating recesses in the body of the T-Trap preventing rotation as fluid flows through the trap. Hump Magnet

Magnetic Humps are used where the flow of material is vertical. The material falling strikes directly on the first magnet changes direction and falls over the second magnet, ensuring clean outflow of material.  The Magnets are of hinged type and can be easily opened for periodic cleaning. Hump Magnets can be supplied to suit any size of Pipe/Duct.

Hump magnet separators are also used to remove ferrous contaminants iron nuts, bolts, wire, banding etc. from the conveyed material. With the hinged doors, cleaning the magnetic surface is quick and easy. The unit can be mounted directly in the air stream with the square to round transitions which can be provided.

Hump magnetic separators consists of two plate magnets which are hinged and gasketed to the rugged steel housing. These plate magnets can be unlatched and swing open for quick manual cleaning.
